So is Sunday the day we finally see the midfield three we have all been craving of Hojbjerg, Lo Celso and Ndombele.
Hojbjerg - holding and tenacious, ball winning, tactical fouls and covering full backs
Ndombele - deep lying playmaking like second half today, build up play going through him.
*above two allowing the attacking full backs to really push on*
Lo Celso - coming deep to pick the ball up, carry it forward and looking to make things happen.
Surely to fack Jose, starting Sunday pls ffs
The midfield we've all be waiting for

A blowing Ndombele is still better than Winkssoko

I cannot wait to not see either of those two players on the team sheet.

I reckon Ndombele will definitely start against Newcastle. He finally has a full 90 minutes under his belt.

Love your optimism but he’s just done 90 mins for pretty much the first time in a year. I’d be amazed if he was ready to go again in three days!
Great signs that he’s becoming a proper player though. I’d written him off but he’s really starting to show something. Let’s hope he’s getting there with fitness ππΌ

Juande, he seemed to be playing at a very leisurely pace, so don't think he took that much out of himself. Cannot see why he shouldn't start again, it us the only way he will get to real fitness. But I get your point. I had written him off as well, but if he can prove us wrong, I will be very happy.

It is what is now. I mean, we don't want another Sissoko even if it's a better version. Just get good players. Hojbjerg is the body in midfield, Doherty on the right, Ndombele as the box to box. Sissoko seems like a nice guy but he's the classic Jack of all trades and master of none.
