....to blame. Only changes from last year are the manager, coaches and some playing staff. If McClaren can't motivate the players and settle on suitable tactics, the failings are with him (and his coaches). What are they coaching? Certainly not how to deal with crosses or how to link midfield to attack! Poor, poor, poor. The players now: take some flippin responsibility! You get paid to do a job. The lack of effort is embarrassing. Pull your damn socks up. How Chambers (player of the season) and Morgan (team of the year) have, all of a sudden, forgotten how to head and defend crosses is beyond me. Maybe there are problems with the board, but the bigger problems are the players and Shteve. It's like having Megson back in charge....

We are stuck with Doughtey but we can at least get rid of McClueless. They are not suddenly poor players - they no respect for or faith in their manager.
Sean O'Driscoll would love to manage on the budget Forest have got and is available and affordable.

This is exactly why nothing will change at Forest, yes your right, it's the manager, coaching staff and players!
But who sacked the manager, who sacked the coaching staff, who appointed a new manager!
Our problems are much deeper!
Players see what the club is doing also you know, not just fans!

Doughty obviously believed that McClaren could take Forest to the next level. Not a bad appointment on the face of it, given McClaren's record in Holland and Forest's position (Championship club). He's just been very disappointing. Doughty doesn't have a crystal ball - McClaren has underachieved and let's not be kidded - he has spent some money. I just don't see why eveyone blames Doughty for all the problems. Yep, Billy was great, but he was a royal pain in the backside. McClaren was only employed because the board felt it was for the benefit of the club. Alas, it ain't worked!

Sir Nicholas, OMG R U really defending ND, I don't care how horrible BD was, he was a winner! For the good of NFFC hw should have just put up with him!
I honestly can't beleive any true Forest fan can defend our board!
No he hasn't got a crystal ball, but even I could foresee this debacle!
ND has 2 go!

Rubbish, Billy could have walked at any time. Forest isn't about Billy Davies. McClaren wasn't a bad choice, but things haven't turned out. Many Championship clubs would have taken McClaren at the start of the season, ditto Miller, Derbyshire, Greening (maybe not George). I do believe that Doughty wants the best for Forest. Why wouldn't he want promotion? It would make his life easier. It's too easy to say 'sack the board'. The problems lie closer to home - manager's ineffectiveness and apathetic or demotivated players. Doughty to stay - definitely. Who else would take over? Simon Cowell, Bill Gates?

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh poor poor diluded Sir Nicholas, we've been hearing this for years from ND.
He want's promotion, BD had a year left on his contract, ND sacks him!
Wake up and see how ND wastes his (to be fair) money!
I dunno if it's realistic to sell Forest, but anyone could run it better than ND & MA and if u can't c that, well u must be ill!

Aladdin, so you are concentrating on ND sacking BD? What about the here and now? What about McClaren and the players? Is their inability to perform due to Doughty? Blaming Doughty everytime Forest hit bad forms is....er, well bad form.

Ha Ha Ha
Listen the boss has to take the blame for bad things!
Usually the Manager in Football, but as I think SM was lied to by the board, it's ND fault!
He sacked a manager that had a year left on his contract to get NFFC promoted!
ND treated BD disgustingly!
ND has treated SM badly also!
That's why I blame ND, I'm not harking on about the past, I saw it coming so should ND!
