October and 3 games in to a new season and a first ever league match between founder league members bolton wanderers and newly promoted harrogate town who beat notts county in the national league play off final to get here. Two big shames about today. Fans still can't attend and harrogate are currently playing away from their wetherby road ground as today's match is at Doncaster rovers keepmoat stadium. Harrogate go into today's game full of confidence, unbeaten in the league and are on the back of a 4-0 win at southend. Bolton on the back of 3 straight league defeats face the prospect of ending the day bottom of the league with a 4th defeat in a row if southend can get a draw at Crawley. The prospects of picking a point up at harrogate against an organised side by a Bolton side who have ripped up plan a(3 at the back) and seem to have ripped up plan b(play from the back)aren't great. Team news. Shaun Miller and lloyd isgrove are injured and out for at least 2 weeks. Expected recalls for captain antoni sarcevic and ryan delaney at the back.

Great to see that we managed a win. From the reading, we seemed to be under the cosh near the end of the game. However, a win is a win and away from home that's a bonus.
I hope that this is the start of our season and we build on our first win. We don't have long before our next game so we will see if the team can repeat the trick.

Transfer deadline day is on Monday October 5. However, to give clubs more time in the age of coronavirus, they will be able to do domestic transfers up until October 16. This will be for loans or permanent transfers between Premier League and EFL clubs. No transfers can take place between Premier League clubs or with foreign clubs in this additional period

Evatt says that he's looking for two loan players and he has had contact with some premier league clubs. However, the players in question are likely to be Academy players and not the real deal. If that turns out to be the case we have to hope that they are good enough to make a difference, otherwise, why bother.

I've worked out the algorithm. It's bring in two two for each one we break and let IE work out the rest.

I'd have hoped that any youngster from a Category 1 Premier League side would be good enough for this division.
All we need to find out is would they have the capacity to cope with "proper adult" football.

Your last sentence is the one that makes the point. I just hope that we have watched some of that might be on the wanted list and that Evatt doesn't take too much notice of the Enigma machine.
We have had some very good young players on loan in the past but we have also had more that weren't up to it. Have we actually got a single scout? I seem to remember that the one we had has left the club. Perhaps the machine replaced him!
