The high line doesnt work with THAT keeper

I dont think much if anything works with that keeper. Granted we conceded 7 and shockers all over the pitch but he sets the ball rolling, gives villa that shot in the arm after 3 mins. Was same in the champs league with atletico looking dead and buried he chucks one in and hands them the initiative.

Gomez firmino and trent are all worries for me as they have looked off the boil all season, a couple of sexy trent crosses dont change that, but adrian is simply not someone who can be trusted at this level.

I think Gomez has been excellent for the most part, over the past couple of years but he's clearly struggling with the highline also. It always seems to be him not in sync with the others. We've played a highline before but this season it seems to be much higher.

Come off it lads, do you actually think Liverpool have played well this season? Leeds tore your defence to shreads and you got lucky with one of the pens. Neither Chelsea (until the Palace game) and Arsenal have been firing on all cylinders.

I think you will be fine, but you don't look anywhere near as good as you were last season even before this thrashing.

A perfect storm. To put the blame on any one player, such as Adrian, misses the point. The whole team was abysmal. Everything Villa did turned to gold. Three deflections, it happens. Full marks to Villa. Mo aside, nobody came out with much of any credit.

As Graeme said on Sky, it’s the fourth game of the season. We played badly, granted. But as bad as United earlier though?
