RIP EVH

Sometimes football seems so trivial.

The guitar legend Eddie Van Halen died of cancer today, aged 65.

A hero of mine since the early 80s, he transformed electric guitar playing and inspired a generation of guitarists.

Seemed like a very humble and decent fella too. Thanks for the amazing music.

RIP Eddie 🤘🏽

Always sad to see a legendary talent passing but the band that could be formed from those that have gone too soon is mouth watering.

Drums = Neil Peart
Bass = John Entwistle
Guitar = take your pick from Eddie VH, Stevie Ray Vaughan or Hendrix
Piano = John Lennon
Vocals = Freddie Mercury

Sadly there are probably plenty of other options.

Saw Van Halen supporting Black Sabbath on the Never Say Die tour mid 70s, absolutely blew Sabbath away as the support band
