Mari required surgery for his injury, but he appears to be on the verge of a return at last, with football.london claiming he will partake in full training ‘within the next week or so’.
The report says he has just been doing light ball work, strengthening activities and other things away from the rest of the group. His chance will come, and he must seize it with both hands when it eventually does. How much of a difference can this guy make this season?
He blew into our life like a sweet summer breeze,
Stole our heart in an instant, made us weak in the knees...
He seemed so sincere when he'd look in our eyes
And say the things I've waited to hear my whole life.
I thought he was different... I thought he was real.
I never thought I could feel the way he made me feel.
I just don't understand why he wasted the time
When there was nothing to gain on his end or mine.
It was perfectly senseless...not one reason why.
He would just disappear without saying goodbye.
He had me floating on air, then let me crash to the ground.
It's too much to wrap my mind around.

Hope he returns to fitness and form well. I'd like to see him and Gabriel tried as our CB's if/when we go back to four in defence.
As for the poetry.....very....erm....nevermind.
