What exactly is Jeffrey going on about? While I appreciate his enthusiasm, I believe that Covid-19 has had an adverse effect on all clubs?

I think what he's on about is that he's happy with the players who wanted to return to play, despite being offered more time off. Many others are not the same, especially considering they're part time. I hear people saying they couldn't be bothered playing all the time. In fact only last week a coach from a certain Irish league club told me he was winding a player up saying he was dropping him for the game(he was asked to take one of two teams who had two friendlies scheduled) only for the player to respond, thank fuсk, I couldn't be bothered anyway.

Not a Ballymena supporter but well done to big Davy for having some optimism in these very difficult times.
Cannot understand how anyone could have a problem with this unless they have an agenda against the great man .

Earl, welcome back from the dead. You're still the same thin-skinned Linfield fan of old. No personal animus towards Jeffrey who was dumped by the Blues a few years ago. Merely commenting on the confusing ramble of the manager of a team that skipped the first tournament of the season.
Stay focused on Leeds, so far they look pretty good!
