I actually thought Lacazette had one of his better games yesterday. These kind of games are always tough for strikers to find space to even get shots off, even Rashford as skilled as he is barely had a sniff.
I thought Laca pressed well and forced United into mistakes. It was his pressing that led to Willians chance that hit the bar and the chance that Auba put wide, thats two great opportunities to score from all because of him. He held the ball up well when he needed to and allowed Willian and the likes to play off him.
I mean he had the same level of involvement as Auba did if not more (bar scoring the penalty) but somehow people thought he was worse than Auba for this game...Lmao
If Lacazette was bad in this game then theres an argument to say Auba was also. I thought the both had better games than last week.
Lacazette did well yesterday!

His pressing was good but overall his attack play was non-existent. Had one decent play where he passed it to Auba, who should have scored, but that was it. Needs to be sold the next window.

I don't think anyone has said Auba had a good game yesterday. However, unlike Laca, he has a top class scoring record and once again scored the winner yesterday. All while playing a wide role rather than his preferred central role.

I thought all your team pressed well. But your forwards were Awful for the most part. Had you not got the pen I think you would have rued a missed opportunity because Utd were even worse

No but people are calling out Laca for this game when his performance was good and probably better than or no worse than Auba's bar his penalty, double standards if you ask me...

In general our forwards arent up to scratch but they did well in this game so credit where credits due. I under dont understand calling out Laca whos performance was good but just not on penalty duties..

The reason Laca gets selected is because although he's woefully low on confidence and his finishing is very questionable right now, he always puts a shift in and helps the team press the opposition, and he helps create chances for others. Other players, when they're low on confidence, often disappear altogether. Yesterday he had a good game in terms of doing the hard work for the team, and he created a good chance for Auba and the one where Willian hit the top of the bar. But he also offered no goalscoring threat, and until one hits him and bounces in he's going to be a liability a lot of the time. And I think Laca gets picked on because we know his ceiling isn't as high as many of our other options, so persisting with him isn't going to result into him suddenly scoring a hatful, just having a striker who will create a few chances and maybe score one in three of his own.

To be fair Laca scored a perfectly fine goal against Leicester only to be disallowed by those clowns sitting in a room.

this guy actually rates lacazette over aubameyang that's why he's spent most of his life pushing anti-auba propaganda.
Tragic virgin illogical moron.
