.....Guardiola call for schedule change.
From BBC Sport website:
"Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp says the Premier League "has to change" its fixture scheduling, with Manchester City counterpart Pep Guardiola adding that players are not protected.
It follows Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's criticism of match timings, with his Manchester United team kicking off at 12:30 GMT on Saturday after playing on Wednesday in the Champions League.
Liverpool and Manchester City played out a 1-1 draw on Sunday after also both having had European fixtures in midweek.
Klopp told BBC Sport: "The boys are on the edge. No team on a Wednesday night should have the 12:30 kick-off on Saturday.
"Sunday - no problem. Not the 12:30 because that is a complete killer. You wake up and play football. This is the recovery phase.
"The Premier League has to change. Sky, BT, you - everyone has to talk to each other.
"You want good football? Give the boys a few hours more rest."
Another reason clubs and managers are questioning the fixture schedule is because as the season started late we're heading into the third international break and it's only early November. Thousands of football fans want all friendlies to be scrapped, think they're a waste of time.

The thing is though, what they're asking for in terms of Wednesday/Saturday isn't impractical, is it?
I appreciate that Thursday/Sunday is harder to resolve, but that doesn't mean the complaint over Wednesday/Saturday is invalid, does it?

As much as Sandy can talk some..., there is a point to be made that all of us, Spurs and Arsenal are playing European matches on Thursday evenings, and will be expected to play any point on Sunday. In fact, given Klopp's apparent window of 72 hours between fixtures, that gives us a narrow window of sometime between Sunday evening and Monday evening to play our matches, which is of course entirely impractical.
So although he has a point from the view of wanting to see the best players playing at their best, perhaps also he should just get on with it and stop moaning about the complications of success. I'm sure he'd rather have Liverpool's fixture list than Burnley's.

Always thought that both CL and EL should be spread across Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday in truth.

He was actually mentioning Spurs and how ridiculous it was this week too though.
He's not saying it's just our problem, it's the whole league.

Excuse me if I`m wrong, but didn`t Spurs have it the worst, an away game in Bulgaria on a Thursday night and a PL game at 12.00 the following Sunday. Not mention playing Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday, Sunday.
If Pep, Klopp and Ole are so upset, maybe they should withdraw from the CL.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He mentioned that too said it was ridiculous. Doesnt happen across europe and only ones who scrapped 5 subs too.

I agree that the point itself isn't without merit. But with fixtures as they stand right now in European competition, it's a problem that can be fixed for CL teams but not EL teams. Is that fair?
It's not a problem that English football can solve fairly. It's something that can only be addressed to UEFA and the scheduling of their competitions. But good luck getting them to stop scheduling Europa League matches on Thursdays and therefore losing out on TV money.

Both serial moaners. The only manager that should be moaning is Jose, Bulgaria on Thursday, Birmingham on Sunday 12 noon. He just got on with it two victories. Job done.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Biggest moanerfootballs ever seen is Jose and im sure hes moaned about it this season already too. I think all managers of clubs in europe agree. And even moyes etc said he was wrong voting scrapping 5 subs.

Also spurs have been one of the more fortunate teams regarding injuries so far. If/when this changes n players start dropping with fatigue injuries Moaninho will be losing his sheite.

Theyre right theres absolutely no reason to be played 12 pm sat after wed in europe or sun 12 playing thurs. and 12 pm kick offs when half ur first teams played in peru on internationals or w,e on wed/thurs. As Klopp said its a key morning of the recovery stage n theyre having to wake up n play straight away.
5 subs shouldnt have been scrapped either even managers of teams like wham are realising that now. I think it should be the two extra u21 academy players only or something though.

As will sandy and will then moan about how congested the fixture list is.

These managers are genuinely worried for their players its bot about advantages. There was an article the other day in the bbc think it was van basten? Saying he wish hed stopped playing the pain etc injuries caused him in later life wasnt worth it.
Theyre paid a stupid amount yes but i dont think that gives tv companies the right to run them into the ground and show disregard their wellbeing. And it does hinder English clubs in europe and it hinders the british national teams too.
