battle-hardened and so much more experienced now, and at long last ready for a Prem title push and finally go through with it, after years of being nearly men.
Looking at the defence, Lloris, Toby and Dier are absolute battle hardened, and really look up for it this season, ready to put themselves on the line for the cause. Premier League veterans, and it is showing. Absolutely what is needed is that CB pairing spot on with a great goalie behind them. Then you look at the full backs, Reguilon and Aurier giving the flair and the pace up and down the flanks, with steady eddies Davies and Doherty to come in and do a very decent job if necessary.
Midfield looks strong with PEH, an absolute 10/10, alongside the reinvigorated N`dombele. If only Spurs could add a really creative midfielder in January, it would be like the icing on the cake.
Up front, enough said, the two best front men in the Prem, Kane and Son, accompanied by some vastly experienced players like Bale, Moura, Lamela etc, back up striker now in Vincinus, and Spurs have firepower now to absolute blow most sides away with.
Spurs have a great spine at long last, Lloris, Toby, Dier, PEH, Kane, vastly experience in the Prem. Conceeding very few, scoring loads. The combination is surely enough to take the title this season.
And at what point will Spurs be taken seriously? If after they have played all 19 teams, will we still have. Oh but Spurs haven`t played anybody yet.
Frankly I see very few weaknesses in the Spurs side now. Score lots, concede few. A combination surely good enough to take the title, whilst other teams dither, and moan about fixture congestion, injuries, etc, Spurs just keep ploughing on.
So many battle hardened players now, and all hungry for trophies. I think Spurs time is coming.

Sandy.........Regelion = Reguilon
Get to spell the name properly because you're going to have to mention him a lot more.
He is by far Spurs best deal of the season.
Hojbjerg is good, but this guy is great.
My only hope is that he stays..... already in the Sprain national squad.

Maybe..... Gotta prove it first...... Talk is cheap mate. All I really want is not to get beat by City. Would take a good performance & a point now and move on

What!!! I will be disappointed if Spurs don't get all three. No more just being happy to be on the same pitch as the likes of City. Jose is targeting the title, no question about that. He wants all three points, and the same again following week, at Stamford Bridge.

I'm not the one trying to convince myself it's going to happen.

I can see Spurs winning a cup this year, but not the title. Both midfield and defence is nothing special and the team is still too reliant on Son and Kane.

Well written article mr positive.
Spot on about the defence "battle hardened... up for it...ready to put themselves on the line...Premier League veterans, and it is showing."
