I know it's obvious and doesn't really need saying, but injuries or lack of them have a big say on who wins what at the season end.
Liverpool before this season didn't have too many long term injuries which helped them. The first team was the best around.
The same goes for City, in fact every team.
Take out two or three important players with long term injuries, even with decent back up, you will struggle to get the same points, or win a cup.
Nothing revolutionary, bet when another team gets beaten and the fans point to the injuries they have had, people say it's sour grapes or an excuse. Go the other way and the same people blame the loss on their injuries.
it's all part of the game, and luck always plays a part, sometimes big and spmetimes small.

Thing is, this doesn't take into account a few key points - when Klopp came in I'm sure we had a spate of injuries pretty early on due to training and playing style but - and I admittedly say this anecdotally - I feel this has gradually decreased as we moved to playing a less intense and therefore strenuous game in latter seasons, so calling it luck doesn't tell the whole story.
On top of this, we have tendency to sign quite robust players, you look at someone like Salah who is pacey and think you associate that with generally being more injury prone but he is anything but, Firmino and Mane are the same. I think it's easy to just say Liverpool's luck has run out as if the past two seasons were just luck, but it's not accurate.

I think people need to calm down a bit tbh.
No big deal if we have to play whoever in the next game. Get on with it.

Henderson fabinho thiago
Jota firmino mane.

Henderson substituted at half time for England. Don't know yet whether it's an injury or tactical

It can't be tactical if Harry Sideways Winks replaces you.

Of course the team will get on with it but mate look at the defence, given that its going to be coming up against 1 of the most free scoring teams in the league so far this season id say we have every right to express our fears.
Its going to take some performance for us to walk away with 3 points against leicester.

There's no guarantee at this stage we'll be able to field Williams, Fab, Thiago or Henderson out of that line up

I think you won because you had the best team. And I'm not implying you were champions by luck.
But luck, or lack of it, affect every team every season, that's all really. But I've bemoaned our injury run in the past, it's normal
