AS phenom said maybe he was more effective, but he was basically just duncan ferguson with a wig. Henderson a more accomplished player.

One thing I would say in response to your list though, Glenn Hoddle was criminally underused by England.

Listened to Ray Wilkins once, he was chosen ahead of Hoddle for England, even he said he was surprised as Hoddle was brilliant. Said it was criminal he was chosen over him.

With Hendo I think he fits LFC to T. Thrives in that set up and is exactly the work horse that is required. For England the set up is such that I don't think it does him any favours

*Also meant to add that sometimes you can't play players who are good for club into the international team as a different style means that player won't be as useful.

England have a habit of picking players who play good in certain prem teams then try and fit them in to a system and are surprised if they don't show their club form.

Just as an example barkley and Grealish have been excellent so far for AV. But I doubt you'd get two AV players getting in ahead of LFC, MU, MC players
