he is confident that he has not broken any government guidelines with his lockdown trip to Dubai being made for business reasons.
The Arsenal winger was pictured on the Instagram of Nusret Gokce, the famous restaurateur better known as "Salt Bae", at his Nusr-Et steakhouse in Dubai on Monday.
People returning from the United Arab Emirates do not need to self-isolate, but current government guidelines state that "travelling away from home, including internationally, is restricted from England except in limited circumstances such as for work or for education."
Having returned to London, the 32-year-old has been told he must provide a negative test before returning to training with Mikel Arteta's squad ahead of their game against Leeds United this weekend.
He was not on International duty and should not have travelled
He should be fined by Arsenal

Gross misconduct, rip up his contract.

We still talking about his trip to Dubai, or just things generally with him so far?

Use it as a reason to bin him.
I just hope several of the squad also went with him in that case.

Hopefully he’s covid positive and we don’t have to play him

The glorious relief of not having to endure Willian on and off the pitch anymore.

He apparently insists he went for work purposes - something to do with image rights or sponsorship obligations.
Seems pretty clear that Arsenal weren't aware of his travel though. Can't see them being too impressed, but if he's not breaking any regulations then probably not alot they can do unless he has something in his contract.
Out of courtesy, especially in the current climate, he should be informing them prior. Few prem games on the bench should be appropriate "punishment".
