Footballing objectives

3 points and a clean sheet after an international break is no bad thing, but it’s hard to get excited over and has again left me wondering what the clubs footballing objectives are.

For me, the objective for a club with our resources should always be to compete for the League title and European Cup.

Ole has done a decent job, but I dont think even his greatest supporters could make an argument that he is capable of turning us into title / European Cup contenders.

So, are the club now resigned to being a top 4 club, or do they truly believe Ole can make us contenders, or is it a case of waiting for the right time to sack him and bring in the next boss?

Jose finished 2nd. You said he failed.

It’s fair to say you meant Jose failed by only finishing 2nd.

Goodnight.

Nowhere did I say finishing 2nd was a failure

However you do understand that he did fail ?

That's why your buddy Ed sacked him

Best ye go have a lie down now

I know. It shouldn't be this hard for you to tell us how you believe him to have failed.

Where did people call Jose's second place a failure?

A figment of RDD's imagination like his claim that utd fans hailed oles 3rd place finish as a "great success"

Roy said Jose failed, despite finishing 2nd.
