The Ivorian Bebe

Is Pepe the biggest flop in the history of the PL?

Granted there have been other big money flops like Torres, Carroll, Di Maria but Pepe really takes the cake.

The guy is literally championship level. He cannot shoot, cannot cross, cannot dribble when comes against a decent LB, runs like a oaf when the ball is at his feet and is physically weak.

How Arsenal paid 70m for him is a surprise. Definitely a dodgy deal which should be examined by the authorities.

Torres won the Champions league. He sunk one of the best Barcelona sides ever.

If that hadn’t happened he would of made it.

Make your own teams I’m interested to see them but my opinion on them two are they’re in on merit or lack thereof.

Ps I know Keita won it sitting on the bench

If you cost 80m and have a record on par with Ward-Prowse you’re a mega flop.

He’s not up for debate he’s the captain of that team
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Ward-Prowse

287 games
27 goals in all competitions
34 assists in all collections

Goal or assist every 0.21 games

Pogba

175 games
33 goals in all competitions
35 assists in all competitions

Goal or assists every 0.39 games

So practically twice as productive goal and assist wise is a record that is on par, is it?

You’ve not had your weetabix today, have you son?

Wow....you're posting Pogba's stats and trying to make a case that this is what you can reasonable expect £89m to get you

Not what I’m doing at all actually. The other poster said he is on par with Ward-Prowse which he isn’t at all as displayed.

Plus I already said that I want him sold. Better luck next time chum

If Pogba goes for big money when he leaves Utd it will really show how important being 'marketable' is in modern football versus actually being a good player.

He scored one goal against Barcelona that did not change the outcome of the result. Before he scored we were going through on the scoreline. After he scored, we were going through. One subjectively iconic moment shouldn’t detract from the objective floppiness for Torres. The price and his terrible scoring record (1 in 6 in the league).
