I have just finished season 4 of this and have to say I wasn't as happy with this as the 3 previous seasons.
It started strong with an assassination by a group whos name is a banned word on these forums but then everything else just petered out once Diana turned up.
Anyone else watching/seen it?

You are the first person I've heard say that.
All the other reviews that I've listened to say that series 4 knocks the other 3 out of the park.
Maybe its a Diana thing?
Anyway I've seen the first 2 episodes of series 4 and thoroughly enjoyed it. The Thatcher bits have been superb, especially the parlour game with the royal family.

Yeah compared to the others its not a patch, maybe because I lived through this era whereas the others I didn't. Very sympathetic to Diana and Thatcher.

Wanted to do a thread on this. 3 parties have now said the series is very loose with the facts and stuff is just not as it happened. Putting some people unfairly in a bad light.
Royal family have come out the show is not factual
Diana's brother has come out saying its not true
And a biographer have said pretty much the same
So it is not a biased review from one side, its basically all parties portrayed in the show that say the same thing
Can't be bothered to watch it then

I've been made to watch season 4 having not watched any of the rest of it.
It was alright and mildly entertaining, as long as you assume it's all nonsense. I don't think any of them come across particularly well, which is probably a good thing and makes them seem more human (as opposed to the lizard-people that we know they really are).
