First season he came in when we were 14pts adrift of top 4 and nearly rescued it. He did his job of steadying the ship
Second season he achieved 3rd. Best we were ever going to do last season.
Third season is only 8 PL games into the campaign. Yes it been a slow start and the summer and Europe had a lot to do with why its been poor.
My point being...... He hasn't actually failed at anything..... Yet. I get that people don't think he is the right guy but he hasn't done anything to deserve the sack.
We are still very much in the hunt for top 4 (8 games ffs) and we still have a great chance of getting out of a very tough CL group.
Ole deserves the rest of the season for me. If he gets back to back top 4's that'd the first time since SAF days. If he doesn't then there's a case for a new manager.
Sacking him now is crazy though. This PL season is a strange one. Long long way to go yet.

Well, he was. 2 trophies, 2nd place, more goals scored, more points won.
Ole could stay for the next 5 years and I doubt he’d win a trophy or get to 81 points.
Cmon Wahl52, you have to admit that the burden of proof is slanted towards the people that think Ole isn’t good enough to take us forward. Miracles can happen, of course but Jose has already outdone Ole in one year at Spurs.

First off, Moyes was part of the equation, so include him.

Jose has proved himself to be a great manager,, but he wasn't great for us, you can't have the two trophies without including the sack when seventeenth in the league '
The two trophies, were great, but not the top ones.
I said at the end of last season he had done well enough to have another season, or at least untul the New Year.
I won't be crying when he goes, but I don't think it should be now.
What everyone else thinks is up to them. Results can quickly change my mind, but not different views on herd

3 quickest United manager to 50 wins in our entire history. Only Sir Matt and Sir Alex got there quicker.
Finished 3rd in his only full season to date.
Yeah sure why shouldn't he get another PL job? He's not done any worse than Moyes, LVG n Jose did. Some would say he's done better in some areas.
