Reminds me a lot of Pepe at Arsenal.

I am still skeptical with regards to his form especially he hasn't been playing but I feel a run of games might get his form back. It looks like Jose is managing the situation correctly.

He is cack. Spúddies will go to any length to defend him.

I've had my head bitten off for pointing out he's well past his best. Not really sure why they're so defensive over it, I'd get the denial if they were crap and him returning to his former glory was their only chance of a decent season but they have the two best forward player's in the league currently and are looking good for the title race, why is it upsetting some of them so much? Cech has returned to Chelsea's squad but would Chelsea fans get triggered if you point out he's not as good as he was in his peak? Ofcourse they wouldn't.

I actually think he will go on slightly longer as long as he is well looked after. All that time not playing at Madrid will have put less strain on his legs and body. I think he has the talent to adapt his game to not having great pace and he'll never lose his finishing ability. I'm sure he will prove people wrong once he is fully fit.

He is a valuable squad member, but he won`t play every game, even when his fitness levels are back to the top.

I won`t be surprised if he tears the Woolwich a new aris in a few weeks time.

He has already scored one important winner, in his little time on the pitch in the Prem. So he will be absolutely valuable going forward.

Is he going to be running from one end of the pitch with the ball and absolutely ripping defences apart, absolutely not. But with his age comes experience and maturity, and he will contribute greatly to Spurs as a squad player. He will do for me.

Henry scored a few important winners on his return to Arsenal when he was past his best, Alexis Sanchez won an FA Cup semi for United and we all know he turned bang average at that point.

Bale was actually one of my favorite players in his prime, i was in awe of how he used his athletic quality's to full effect but unfortunately said athleticism that allowed him to dine at the top table just isn't there anymore.

Our so far bit-part player has scored more than United first choice centre forward

It's asking too much to have the same player we had when he was last here. But we're a better team now and don't need him to get us out of jail all the time. If he can at least chip in with some goals and have an impact from the bench he will be worth it, and he's already done that in one game from his limited appearances while below full fitness. I'm still excited about how much more he can potentially add.
