English teams in Europe this week

Rennes 1-2 Chelsea
Man Utd 4-1 Istanbul
Olympiakos 0-1 Man City
Liverpool 0-2 Atalanta
Molde 0-3 Arsenal
Tottenham 4-0 Ludogorets

With the obvious exception of one poor display that let the side down unfortunately, the English teams did very well in Europe this week. Is this a sign that the English teams can be successful in both the Europa League and Champions League this season?

Liverpool have the best squad though apparently.

Would love to see how Spurs would cope with 8 players out injured

The fact that we have so many injuries and are still joint top of the league as well as top of our CL group probably underlines that very point

I couodbhave sworn Leicester playedbin Europe this week.

Including them doesn't suit Wahl Tiit's agenda though.

Spurs won 4-0 with 10 first teamers missing yesterday.

And who are these eight first teamers missing?

Try playing a good team with all those players missing

The silence when enquiring which eight players were missing.
