Fred was excellent today. But he can’t win on this board. Rashford can get away with a series of atrocious performances, but Fred won’t get even the credit he deserves.

Not sure what he did wrong in the match to warrant the first few responses. Weird.

He was good second half. No idea where he was first half though, and the free kick cost us a goal.

Fred was great today. Agree with the ok.

Good player very underrated but I’m gonna be very critical here. He still gives a too many silly fouls.

We’ve conceded twice from frees this week. Ya could arguably question De Gea on both but both were from silly frees conceded by Fred.

He also needs to keep it simple more often and stop the Hollywood passes that he’s rarely capable of.

If he can correct both of those parts of his game he could be a top player in that role.

Great player. Great asset.

Maybe I’m glass half empty but I don’t think we should be creaming our pants just yet. Struggled to get six points against West Brom at home and a very poor Soton side, as soon as we play someone decent the ole out brigade will be in full voice
