Sounds like he knows what he wants. Plenty of City players I would be interested in after they buy another group of overpaid stars.

All would be in and around the first team straight away and would push other youngsters development on.

Sounds to me like he already knows he is going to be the makeweight in a bid for one of our players - Baines? Therefore he is trying to make it sound more positive in advance!!

- You may have a point there, not thought about that. I did wonder why he might want to go to you as could not see him getting in your side. Good luck for next season toffees (would love you to finish above your lovely neighbours!) - no doubt you'll get your usual six points from us but we'll be similing come May anyway!

Bear in mind that we're at opposite ends of the financial spectrum, I expect newly promoted teams to spend more than we do this summer unless we sell, Everton really shouldn't be able to take 6points off you most seasons.
