the worse performance of the season. Spurs were outplayed from minute one and were extremely lucky to get a draw.
Fair to say we won`t be seeing that back four play much this season. I suppose the only good thing about tonight was qualifying for the knock out stages.
Marks out of ten for the team, nobody more than a four. They were all as bad as each other. And surely Gazzaniga is better than Hart?
Hey ho, we move on to the North London Derby now, where I expect a 100 per cent better performance.
Well that was the shocker, easily

I know it's early days but Bale is looking a poor so far. Doesn't cover the areas Jose wants covered in order for the team to keep shape and not really doing anything with the ball.
I mean, that chance he facked up was as bad as it gets. That should have got a lot more coverage than it did and would have won us the game.
I hope it's just down to fitness, but I'm starting to wonder whether we have facked up with that transfer.

Hmmm, I was always a bit cautious, he was never going to be the same player. Still, it’s early days, and like a Ndombele if we’re patient whilst he gets his fitness up, hopefully we’ll see some of the old magic again.

Sanchez is a complete liability. Has no business being anywhere near the team. He makes error after error I think he’s possibly the most consistently error prone international defender I can remember

I agree Chronic. Liability.

Would sell Sanchez ASAP. I don’t particularly rate Aurier either but fair play he’s having a decent season so far, but Sanchez is a crock of s** and that’s being nice on him.

Yep he was adamant you had a superior second string side to not only Chelsea but Liverpool and City aswell!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Well that the fact that Spurs second string is still in the Carabou Cup and Chelsea and Liverpool`s second string is not, kinda proves Spurs second string is better than both of those.

Bake 'em, Bale was never going to be peak Bale, but he is still has plenty to offer. The whole team were poor last night, even Son, his goal apart, did absolutely nothing.

You said your B team is better because you've gone further in the league cup, so by that exact same logic Marine are the joint best team in England because they are still in the FA Cup with the big guns.
Unless you would like to explain to me why the league cup is a bigger barometer of team quality than the FA Cup, to which I would love to hear!

" Spurs were outplayed from minute one and were extremely lucky to get a draw."
******************
I would not say that at all.
Certainly it was a very scrappy match, disjointed, neither side really able to put a number of passes together. The ball was going astray all the time, from both sides.
There were times when the Spurs side did seem to want to get the match over with and get into the dressing room showers. Cold, snow on the ground, no fans. Who wants to play in those conditions?
Joe Hart gave away their second goal. And Bale & Son should have put the ball in the net for goal 3.
Ndombele played well as usual and made a great pass for son's goal.
I think Doherty is not up to the necessary standard for the Prem. Sanchez is questionable.
Lo Celso never seemed to get going.
Bale tried hard, and is getting fitter.
But all-in-all Spurs could well have come away 4-2 winners.
A forgettable match, I agree.
