I think it’s safe to say Ole has got it massively wrong in the last 2 CL games where all we needed is one point and I think a large proportion of the blame lies with him
PSG Game
Firstly not taking Fred off after the headbutt incident.
Then taking Cavani and Martial off when we needed a goal for him then to bring on Ighalo in the last minute
Leipzig Game
Sets up 5 at the back and two holding midfielders
Fails to change the formation at 2-0 down in the first half and we were lucky to go in only 2-0
Brings off Telles our best attacking fullback and keeps on Shaw who hasn’t played in a month only for him then to take him off and we end up with a right footed left back
3 out of our 5 subs are defenders when we need goals and still have attacking players on the bench
So much wrong in two games. We are becoming a team of bottlers when it comes to the big games when it matters. Ole now has to get top 4 AND a trophy otherwise he has to go

He subbed off Telles, then Shaw 15 mins later, then brought on Williams, a right footer at LB.
He brought on TFM and Tuanzebe when Igalho and Mata are on the bench and we needed goals.
He failed to inform AWB that Angelino should be handled despite him getting through 3-4 times in acres of space
Can't even be bothered to discuss not taking fred off last week
Ole is so incredibly naive it beggars belief
I bet he was starting Pogba tonight until his agent talked, he then took him out and probably out of desperation subbed him on to try and win the game..
I'm just not sold on Ole.

In hindsight it was a bad decision to go all out at 1-2 and get caught.
You would still have the advantage over PSG if it ended that score, all be it slim chance they'll lose at home to Istanbul but still.

Only thing you can point at Ole in the PSG game was the decision to leave Fred on. We should have won that game imo.
Yesterday, we made the right changes at half time, but this is the issue with the current setup. For whatever reason, we are passive until we concede. If we go out to beat teams from the off, we'll do much better.
Yesterday wasn't a game for 5 defenders. McTominay and Matic were left overrun throughout. Bruno should have dropped deeper to tighten it up at least until half time.
There wasn't a single good performance from our defenders, Tuanzabe off the bench was the only one who came on and looked in control.
