This is unacceptable

We played a 5-2-1-2 with just McT and Matic in midfield against a team whose strength is in that area. 2 midfielders in an away CL game is just beggars belief.

Imagine calling a club legend a clown. He's done more for this football club than most and doesnt deserve this treatment at all.

You probably wouldn't even be a Utd fan if you were born in last decade. You'd be a Liverpool, Chelsea or City fan like the majority of our plastic fanbase.

You don't know what your talking about. I started supporting United as a child during a dark period of our history, when Liverpool were dominating English football. Moreover, the same person can be a genius in one domain and a clown in another. I will always love Ole the player and cherish his memory, but as a manager, he is a clown. The world is laughing at us, but silly fans like you don't care as long as Ole's at the Wheel.

It’s a problem for us in many games. Bruno’s so often too far up, so when opposition push their midfield three up we’re outnumbered.

I get that if Bruno’s too deep we’re losing a threat in attack for quick counters, but that’s another issue with the five at the back.

I assume Shaw didn’t have the legs for 90 minutes and Lindelof was a mess, Tuanzabe actually helped us get the ball forward quicker.

Not that having 5 subs would of had an impact eh?

This is what cost us.

Bruno or Ole had to see this and drop 15 yards deeper out of possession. Would have made a big difference.

The Sabitzer cross; he’s so deep they’re probably not expecting a cross-field ball to be swung over and actually find a man on the other side of the pitch, but apart from that, yeah, a defensive disasterclass...again.

And that’s arguably the main issue, we can’t defend. It’s all fun and games against the likes of Southampton and WHU but you can’t keep needing to score 2-3 goals every game just to make sure you don’t lose.

When you come up against a better side (than the ones mentioned) they make you look stupid.

I’m guessing he thinks it’s a risk worth taking for when we counter. Mourinho usually wouldn’t do this, he’d have everyone sitting deeper, but we weren’t as good on the counter as when we won it there wasn’t anyone in the opposition half.
