I cannot help what Junction did

Mighty is an honest man, reputable man, I will abide with whatever he decides.

Just to clarify, my player in the bracket was meant for the assist.

I now realise we don't have to name the assist'er

I meant Dele or Vin for the goal, Bale for the assist, which I now realise was redundant.

I'll go with whatever Mighty decides

erm - ok, just catching up and sorting out the results and table update

Looks like I'll need to make a judgement!

Feel a bit like General Melchett in Blackadder - "Pass me the black cap - I'll be needing that later"

Keyser/Phenom

Just had a quick look at this.

Seems like Keyser hadn't realised the prediction competition requirements, namely name the 1st goalscorer (alternate in brackets in case the 1st choice doesn't start or gets subbed), time of the 1st goal and final score.

He assumed that the name in brackets was for an assist.

Phenom, quite rightly, raised a concern (leveling a "cheating" accusation is a bit harsh ) as on the face of it, Keyser appears to be naming 3 possible scorers of the 1st goal, thereby improving his chances of gaining points.

I feel slightly responsible for this as I have only been posting the points allocation in recent (last 10 or so) OPs and given Keyser is a newcomer to the competition (he only joined from the Chelsea round 2 weeks ago) he may not gave realised the requirements. He clearly stated in his posting that Vinny was his 1st choice if Dele didn't start, which was the case, naming Bale in brackets for the assist.

Therefore I will allow Keyser the points for nominating Vinny as his alternate to Dele not starting.

I will ensure that the rules AND the points alloaction are made clear in all future OPs in the comp.

Phenom is storming away with this at the moment and I understand, though, not condone his gamesmanship in trying to keep all rivals down

(Phenom, in the event that this ruling becomes relevant at the end of the comp, I will permit an appeal process, the form of which I've not dreamt of yet!)
