12 Prem titles behind Man United, scousers gobbiing off again. Couldn't even beat teams like Midgetland. Not quite as good as they think they are.

Hahaha. Let's be honest though, as much as I can understand Spurs fans' elation at your current form and results, some of your fans are getting way, way ahead of themselves.

Liverpool are clear favourites for the title. With City in decline, nobody in this current PL cycle can touch them when they're anywhere near full strength.

It's way too early in the season for anyone other than Liverpool to be proclaiming themselves candidates.

Of course Liverpool are clear favourites, they cruised to the title last year. But this Spurs side is not as far off as people think especially whilst VVD remains out.

We have vs a chance because they are not full strength and could easily continue to have injury issues throughout the season given the tempo they play at.

I just think it's too early to know if Spurs will be able to maintain the kind of consistency that will be required.

You've had some fabulous results recently, and Mourinho seems to have pretty much the whole squad on board, but despite all the laughs on the back of the Villa game, they've still only lost that game and even with a severely depleted squad have still managed to match your results.

I can understand the sense of optimism at Spurs, but some of your fans are looking way too far down the line at the moment imo.
