He’s made the point that all the teams in Europe have struggled this weekend , fair enough . But we had a choice about who travelled and played . He made a mistake with the team on wed and it’s been compounded by losing jota . Big mistake I think and he should have played all the kids . This season is like no other and it would have been quickly forgotten if we’d lost , as it is we have dropped points and lost jota

Once again Klopp blames something else other than himself

This is already like a broken record. If you can’t understand the thinking behind Klopp’s selection then perhaps you shouldn’t make articles about it.

What was it then ?as I don’t understand it

I always think the European football excuse is pretty poor. It’s always been an issue so it’s nothing new, it allows teams like Liverpool to have insane amounts of revenue come in year after year - funding a team that costs almost 5 times the amount some of the teams in the PL they face.
It’s something as a manager you need to facilitate for and the very best (Fergie) make certain that the balance is right - ensuring effective rotation and good squad management. He gets paid the big bucks to solve the European issues.

Jota had played something like 20 mins in the last four games. He needed match time, simple as that. You cannot approach football with the attitude of avoiding playing players just in case they get an injury. A manager goes with that attitude and it’ll filter through to the players and they then don’t go into challenges 100% and stand more chance of getting injured anyway.
Also, you just can’t put 11 youngsters on the pitch and expect them to get any benefit from the game. They’d get battered and learn nothing. You need to balance it with experience so that they can guide them through the game.

So I understand that , but it’s an usual season and if the kids got battered they’d get over it
Re jota it was clean the Danes were being too robust and he should have got him off much sooner

Fatigue was no excuse for us at least. We rested pretty much our full team in both our last two CL games.

Bit harsh bombing Klopp. Most of the first teamers who played midweek will have been struggling for match fitness after injured/ Covid.

For the 675th time. All managers talk crap after a game, especially if the teams lost. Only three exceptions.
Shanks, wise and funny.
Steve Coppull. Intelligent.
LvG. Hilarious and sometimes daft.
