Sack him today. He should never have got the job in the 1st place.
Problem is now that no one would want this job coz its a poison chalice
Its too late we are doomed .
3 points on Brighton
4 on Burnley
5 on Fulham
We will be in the bottom 3 on Boxing Day after Chelsea put us there
A token gesture to sack Arteta then and replace him with Per Mertesacker for the rest of the season.
Our board are W@nkers for allowing this situation in the 1st place
Arteta Out

The same people who wanted to manage Liverpool, Utd, Chelsea and Spurs when they were each struggling

To be fair no-one wants to manage United either, that is why they are stuck with Ole.

Benitez would be a good fit for Arsenal.

I think Arteta is going to be allowed another transfer window

I think Arteta will get until the end of the season to turn things around, unless he drops us into the bottom 3 for a prolonged period.
I'm not against him going now, but I very much doubt we'll have a suitable replacement already lined up.
The worst thing we can do is get rid of him now, before the next transfer window, and have another inexperienced manager from the back room care taking. We need to spend in January, but without knowing who is replacing him, how the hell do we know who we should be buying?

Except one of them has a proven record, and it's not the guy with the action figure haircut.
Benitez almost made Liverpool champions and kept Newcastle in the league. I wanted him when Wenger left, when Emery was booted, and I want him as our manager now more than ever.

The whole idea of having a director of football is that all the ground work for bringing players in January will have already been done or it should have been. While the manager will have some say the majority of the decisions will have already been made so really changing the manager now from a recruitment standpoint should not make too much difference. If we get a manager from outside of England they will be used to this, its probably common place in this country now as well. Its up to Edu when he sits down with candidates to say this is what we have got and what we are planning to get are you still interested in the job.

Even if we have a plan already on who we want, Players may not want to come here in January if they don’t really know who the manager will be. The club need to decide pretty soon if Arteta is the man or not
