There's nothing wrong with dreaming, which is why this article is just that. Let's dream that Barca aren't on the verge of bankruptcy and have plenty of £££. This is what I would do to fix broken Barca:
Sell:
Griezmann
Dembele
Messi
Umtiti
Alba
Buy:
Saka
Joao Felix
Ndombele
Neymar
Gomez
Bernat
Imagine this:
Ter Stegen
Dest
Gomez/Araujo
Pique/Lenglet
Juan Bernat
Pjanic/De Jong
Ndombele
Saka/Pedri
Joao Felix/Coutinho
Ansu Fati/Trincao
Neymar
A dream is a dream though unfortunately.

I’d rather Madrid go bankrupt first though but I’d imagine they’d be bailed out

Ole as manager right?

Your club doesn't have the money to buy Gomez

To be fair it is not beyond the realms of possibility at the minute. It's why I think Messi will go in Jan, we need his salary off of the books.

Why ditch him mid-season when he'll be off the books in the summer anyway?
You aren't getting a fee for him, that ship has sailed imo. I imagine he'd rather do an extra 6 months and pocket in its entirety whatever signing on fee his agent can negotiate for him.
Plus, it will probably be either City or PSG, and it's highly unlikely he'd be released to PSG just weeks before they are set to play you.

I noticed you wouldn’t buy any of the current United squad. I know you’re a fan of Ole, do you believe he is making them better players than they actually are? Do you think Ole if given better players could propel them to Galactico levels?

You see with Barca, the club has an identity and style of play that they don't like to change too much so no matter how many players you buys, if the coach is not the right choice to implement their style successfully, you'll always have this problem. So the real question is...who is the coach that can get these players playing like a team again and still stick to the ethos of the club.
The obvious choice is Pep but we'll ignore him for now.
I think Erik ten Hag would be a decent fit for them.

Haha I know Mane. That's why this is just a fantasy draft thingy. Gomez would be absolutely perfect though, he'd literally fix 80% of our problems by signing. Good defender, versatile, fast and good on the ball.
Sign.

I don't think changing the coach, with the current side, would make much of a difference. The team is done.

I personally think he'll go to City in January. A fee of about 20-30 million euros. City will want him to push them back to the title and Barca need £££ and his salary off the books.
I'd be happy with either
£20-30 million
or
Eric Garcia + 10 million

I don't think you are really all that far off from becoming a force again, but I can't see it happening until Messi moves on.
Not meant as a sleight in any way, even as a Madrid fan, I've loved watching him down the years (other than when he was tearing us a new one) - but you just can't rebuild while he is still there.
Whoever is at the helm during that process is obviously going to need to be given time, but based on his work at Ajax, Ten Hag would indeed be a very interesting proposition.
