So we're playing Slavia Praha in the round of 32. Fairly tough draw.
The most irritating thing about this is that it would have been a wonderful place to go to see the match but there is zero chance of that.
Thoughts?
Europa League draw

Honestly, I know very little about them. Some say it's a good draw, some say it's a tough draw. Maybe it's somewhere in the middle.
Still, the round afterwards would be a tougher draw pretty much regardless. So we're going to have to start beating good teams anyway.

Would take this draw all day.
No better than Braga (probably not as good) and by far one of the easier ties, given who we could have been against (i.e. Benfica, Olympiacos, Tel-Aviv, Kiev (both in terms of travel), Sociedad, Lille).
Pity there will be no "European tour" to Prague, but at the same time, we should enjoy this and see them off relatively comfortably. The real work (as most acknowledge) comes from the Round of 16 and onwards.
Plenty of time to consolidate our position at the top of the league between now and February too. Maybe even the odd new recruit in January to bolster the ranks for the next part of the European campaign. It should be an exciting prospect (with the new training ground also coming to fruition soon).
Great times to be a fox!

YWF - although we're doing well in the competitions, so the club is doing OK from that point of view, it is a dreadful time to be a fox as we are unable to watch the matches live in the stadia.

Is it just me that worries that our move to the new training ground will unsettle us a bit?
It always takes time to adjust to a new setting and doing it mid season isn’t ideal. Maybe wait until the end of the season or do others think I’m being silly?

I suppose it's possible, but could you not also make the argument that it may give the lads a boost being in a top quality environment for training?
I suspect that the management just want to start using the new facility as soon as practicable given the £100M price tag?
