A point we need to take given the circumstances, but yet again, we're architects of our own downfall as we're in the ascendancy.
The players being too overzealous and not being able to channel their energy in the right way is symptomatic of their feelings toward the manager, imo.
8 red cards, 3 of which have come in the last 4 games, is abominable.
We may as well be starting each game with 10 men.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No; you accord too much intellect to these players. The last three reds were borne out of people being thick!

Billic got a draw away v Man City. The board still had the cojones to fire him. That’s what vaguely efficient clubs do. Is there a worse managed club in the Prem than Arsenal? Can’t wait till Kroenkes get bored and sell up. THEY have ruined this club.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
If K is getting his 10% - he won't care about what's happening on the field
——/——————————-
When we go down his 10% of a lot less will not keep him interested. When fans are back and the stadium is half empty and the atmosphere toxic he will get the message.

That 10% could be a lot smaller next season

look. your job as a manager is to put players in position to succeed. arteta just doesn't do that.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I also expect from the players to be diciplined in difficult times and fight, fight, fight.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
not if you are failing constantly. there is no confidence in this team.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Confidence comes back with winning games.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
and keeping 11 men on the park
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I wouldn't be too harsh on Gabriel for the cynical foul.
One of two things was going to happen if he had allowed Walcott to peel off and have another clear run on goal.
Either a Southampton goal, or a Bernd Leno red card for chopping Walcott in half.

But you have to ask yourselves why they've been so ill-disciplined and acted out like that.
8 red cards in less than a year is wildly uncommon.
The reason why they're letting their frustrations get the better of them is because they're not enjoying themselves and they're feeling the pressure. They're trying to overcompensate by being overtly aggressive to prove a point, but it's counterproductive.

Walcott had a hold of Gabriel first, absolute bs from the ref, wanted to be centre of attention all game.

Any defender would have justifiably gone for the cynical professional foul against Walcott there.
I'm just glad it wasn't a straight red for a last-man foul.

There's no way we can justify our disciplinary record. Yes the players are stupid but you can still for the most part be trained out of any behaviours & as someone said, a lot of it is as frustration from how we're playing.
We can barely pick up a point with 11 players, what chance are we giving ourselves when we've got a 10 men and a stack of suspensions?

The players are feeling the pressure but not always coping with it well. That they are feeling pressure at least suggests they do give a S|-|it.
