Patience is required.

4-3-3 works great when we everyone is fit and in form, but it’s not a one size fits all for the whole squad. Werner is not a winger. Kovacic for me is questionable as an eight. Two upfront should be seriously considered until Ziyech and CHO are match fit.

The 433 was more a necessary to accommodate Lampard's inability to find tactical balance in the 4231 or 343 regardless of the players he has to work with. The squad is clearly tailored towards 4231 - Havertz is the natural hub & CAM is his position.

Lampard NEEDS a holding midfielder, he can't train the pressing game he likes without one to control the D-line, but conversely he needs a top heavy system to aid said pressing. That's 433! Until he changes/grows, that can't other than on a situational basis really.
