Lions v Forest

Millwall just ended a ten game run without a win by beating the Robins 0-2 at Ashton Gate on Tuesday night. They did it while surrendering all but 32% of possession and managed 5 on-target shots to Bristol's 1, plus 2 corners.

'Tom Bradshaw, Jon Dadi Bodvarsson and Mason Bennett all impressed in attack at Ashton Gate and will hope to keep their places in the starting XI, whilst at the back, Murray Wallace came into the side to assist an eighth clean sheet of the campaign for Bartosz Bialkowski. Kenneth Zohore, Billy Mitchell and Connor Mahoney remain absentees, however.'

Don't fall for Lion spin in the above lift from their website, they've already lost 3 times in December; to Derby, Middlesbrough and Blackburn.
Prior to that their last success was on the road away to PNE on 28th October, notching up another 0-2 win thanks to Zohore [54] and a Jed Wallace 84th minute penalty.

Millwall's man to watch is Jed Wallace with 5 goals and 3 assists having played in 21 games.

With the smoke back into Tier 3 the New Den will be empty and Forest have some good news re injuries.
'Lyle Taylor is fit to be involved for The Reds having come off with a knock in the midweek win over Sheffield Wednesday. The frontman was replaced by Lewis Grabban who scored on his return and will be aiming to clock up some more minutes against his former club.'

However Scot Mckenna isn't due to return to training until next week.

Did anyone stay up 'til midnight to see in the New Tier?

Mighten's was a nicely taken goal, but it was set up for him by the take down and ball delivered into his path by Lewis Grabban.
As so often will a highly skilful player it was made to look easy, but wasn't if you take the trouble to analyse it!

S.Glos is the only local Gov'nt area in the West Country that is still in Tier 3 and beautifully demonstrates the sheer gross incompetence of this Tory Gov'nt and it's Jonny-come-lately P.M. We have no major hospital [ either Southmead in Bristol or RUH Bath] most folk commute into either Bristol/Bath/Swindon and to top it off we have a lower +60infection rate than Bristol.
