Lesson for the day: If you’re going to demand the penalty is yours, don’t look like you’re soiling yourself as you take it.

And as for Gray, the sooner we get rid the better. He looked like he was most interested in making a highlight reel of flamboyant sideways passes.

I know. I know to have low expectations in these games. I remember Rotherham on Boxing Day all too well.

But the way in which we lost just angers me. Too many players need to look at that and ask themselves questions about their attitude. We’re they at 100% for the whole game. Did they give everything they could. We’re they trying to affect the game in the right way.

They should all look at Justin and be embarrassed by the attitude he showed compared to them.

I was at that Rotherham game.... we lost 1-0

And they went down.....

They were so awful. Like Palace today, which makes it so much worse!

The frustrating thing for me on that game is that despite playing many of the fringe players and them exposing themselves as not good enough. That it was a distinctly average performance and we didn’t create enough clear cut chances. We still should have won comfortably.

We missed a penalty. Some pretty poor finishing and an error by Schmeichel gifting them the goal. The draw against Man Utd felt very much like a point gained. This was very much 2 points lost.
