People forget that we haven't won at Brighton since 2017 and today's 3 point is much-needed and well-deserved.
Our next 5 games are winnable games.... Arsenal please keep them 3 points coming! We can do it!
Another good win for us today...

Funny how far expectations have dropped that we're celebrating a win against 17th like a top four win. Is what it is though
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah, but since Wenger started the run of no league wins at the Amex since they came up it has become a significant fixture for us.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Wenger record against Brighton 3 wins one loss
Post Wenger: 2 losses 2 draws. First win today
DJ logic. Wenger is at fault for the 4 lack of wins after he left 🤦🏾♂️
Take a break chap
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Wenger only managed one league game at the Amex and lost.
Maybe if you stopped making everything about Wenger people would stop highlighting the fact he started the decline...
And, btw, I celebrated every win over a team in 17th place when Wenger was boss. If you didn't it just highlights what an entitled little brat you truly are. Glory hunting Wenger FC fan.
Now go and dry your eyes, Arsenal won so you have nothing to celebrate.

WB2 fuming at the uplift in performance after Arteta spoke to the team at HT...

Just a shame he didnt talk them before kick off, we could have won 2-0.

During ‘Project Restart’ we’d often play better after drinks breaks. Tbh I thought he might’ve lost that ability to gee things up a bit.
Tonight gave me hope that he hasn’t.
Take your point though, and don’t deny it would’ve been better to have played with the same intensity we had after the break from the get go.

🤔 Who brought up Wenger? I spoke of how far we have fallen. Only an idiot would disagree but you fit the criteria for a simpleton so no surprise.
Then you start going on about Wenger starting a losing streak despite a 75% win streak vs a post Wenger 0% win streak before today
Then you say I need to stop going on about Wenger. Truly lost your marbles lay of the Coke you paranoid mess

Not sure whats wrong with celebrating a win. I'm always happy when we win be it against the league leaders or the bottom club.
Obviously a win over a league leader is better as you have more people to banter.

As usual, showed too much hate for a player already to assign the credit where it's due. It wasn't the Arteta pep talk which made the difference, it was his subbing on of Lacazette. Until he came on, they were a bit lost upfront as to how make the breakthrough. Their youthful instinctive brilliance alone wasn't making the breakthrough. That's the flaw which says "gotta put some experience with youth."
The immediate goal is a good example. Same break and there's agood chance the cut back doesn't come off because Nketiah instinctively goes rather than taking that split second longer to look and pick his spot. After Saka's instinctive brilliance sets him off on the run, it's Laca's old head that makes the last easy. How many times you seen the same thing not quite come off for Nketiah because he's not making it making it quite so easy for his winger? Baby brains need grown up reigns.
It might be easier and less embarrassing for people to credit some words from Arteta but make no mistake, the game was won by Lacazette's insertion calming and focusing young energetic heads. And the 2-0 or more could/would have come in the first half had Arteta just had the nouse to start him.
Feck talking to em before the game, he should have just started Lacazette and there'd have been no talking necessary.

Yes, because Auba was playing like a horse’s ‘arris. The kids didn’t really adapt their play after Lacazette came on really. He just took up better positions than the Captain had done up to that point.
And the reason Arteta didn’t start Lacazette was because he had a twinge in his back after the Chelsea match, so he was protecting him - something you’ve been critical of him for not doing enough in the past. Not taking a risk with Saka (despite the lad doing everything possible to show he wanted to play on) is further evidence Arteta is learning lessons regarding this, and should be welcomed, not criticised.

Funny also how you ignore the possibility that, though we often saw similar uplifts post-drinks break during ‘Project Restart’, the immediate improvement after coming out for the 2nd half couldn’t possibly have been due to Arteta talking to the players.
At least you’re prepared to admit he got the substitution spot on.
Some progress at least.
