Title winning performance. Liverpool fans are nervous and saying things like ‘this is a weird season’ so when United win it their excuses are lined up.

Woeful performance which doesn't matter today, but is relevant when predicting what is to come.

I'm not expecting lots of goals, just some better passing would be nice. Also some urgency in the first half showing they really want to go second.

Anyway, a last minute goal and 3 points will do fine for today.

Remember back to out last title winning season and we scored a lot of late goals. We also did concede late goals that season towards the end of the season that cost us points. I think this current Man Utd team are technically much better so why can’t we win the league? I know RVP was on fire that season but we got Fernandes as our main man these days just like Ronaldo was in 06-07 season to win us first league title. We are more like that 06-07 side this season.

This season does have remarkable similarities to 2012/13.

The best two squads then, as now, under achieved to come in second and third behind a United squad that won, almost, by default.

If the only team currently above United are a liverpool squad that were the weakest champion's since Blackburn (or maybe Leicester) and if CFC and MCFC continue to under-achieve then maybe, just maybe.

But that's a lot of 'ifs'.

Still, it would be hilarious if it happened.

This may well be United's most important January transfer market window ..... EVER.

I don’t rate him at the best of times as a striker, this season he’s under performing even more so.

What did the cynics want from today? 5 points and a 10-0 win? Job done. Happy with that. Second in the best league in the world. Momentum in recent performances is good. Have faith. I would be disappointed if we did an Arsenal type 1-0 every game and bored everyone to death but we are capable of better than that, as United fans expect. Might come down to last game of the season (Man Utd or Liverpool). The rest will just be the rest.

Still should pass it to Cavani next time. Good result came from a wrong decision
