A bit late to the party here but he looks to be an absolutely class player. Watched some of his highlights and he reminds me of Santi Cazorla in his first season for us.
Reports are circulating that we are willing to offer either Nelson or Willock plus cash for him. I would swap both of them for Buendia in a heartbeat.
Valued at 40m pounds which looks like good value for money for such a promising 24 year old. 7 goals and 7 assists this season for Norwich, and was 2nd highest for key passes last season behind De Bruyne despite getting relegated.
Thoughts?
Could he play next to Partey (which would enable us to keep ESR in the team)?

It's worth stating that Buendia is #1 in Europe's top 5 leagues this season for chances created.
62 - Buendia

Created 70 chances in the PL last season, second only to KDB and Trent (96 and 73, respectively).
Again, that's in spite of playing for a team that got relegated.
That's more than the likes of Grealish / Pogba / Maddison etc etc.
Can't say he isn't worth good money (or at the very least one if not both of Willock and Nelson plus cash)!

Bit late replying,been busy! I've seen most of these players games for a few seasons and,while they all have great talent,none have the consistency of Nelson. He is in the mold of Tierney,constantly at a high level. Saka and ER can be brilliant on their day ( superb right now!) but they can both be a bit Auba - i.e. can fade for a few games.It's all about potential at this stage,but that consistency is what true greats are all made of. I may be wrong,but I hope it's us that get to find out.

Potential bargain last summer at 20m just turned 24 at under 30m could still be a gem. His stats were great in chance creation for Norwich better chance creation than the likes of grealish and maddison etc in a worse team that year in the prem.
Could do worse.
