Let’s try make this a serious discussion. With the huge rise in recent cases, over 60,000 today and deaths fast approaching 75,000, is it right that football continues?
I know we all love the game but recent transgressions by the players show they cannot be trusted. We’ve had games recently postponed and squads decimated because of this. Even worse we will soon have games played across Europe Everyone else in the country has been told to work from home unless you are “essential" to “SAVE LIVES & PROTECT THE NHS" why does Football get a free pass?
5 Stars for - Null & Void
3 Stars for - Postpone
1 Star for - Continue as we are
Should Football be cancelled?

I'd say it should continue, I personally didn't think, when looking back now, it should have stopped back in March but I suppose the situation was different then so I understand why they did.
Internationals and European football should be postponed though I think for the foreseeable, but even then, the issue is when do they play them fixtures because Euro 2020 is scheduled for this year.

Europe should be called off. The rest should continue with the current measures in place.

This very much sounds like an article born out of jealousy, elite sport is a profession just like any other profession out there and it can't be done from home so they are perfectly entitled to work.
On top of that, because of the regular tests and pretty much any slight transgression being thrust into the limelight, it's actually far lower risk than most other professions.
Most importantly, as somebody else mentioned there has been no impact on our health services whatsoever from football being played. No hospitalisations (correct me if I'm wrong).
With that in mind, why stop football being played? What is the benefit? Any industry that can continue operating safely must continue operating.
Ludicrous to suggest that just because you or I have to work from home that everybody else should. That's just jealousy talking.

Absolutely, international or European football shouldn't be played in any form.

Football is being controlled better than about anything in most Countries, so, its up to players to look after themselves better when away from their work place!..
Footballers going to parties and such should be brought into line and the harder the better, they know their responsibilities and the impact it has on others!..
They should be banned from playing and their wages for the length of banning should go to a Covid fund!..
Or even better their local Hospitals and reward the people that are killing themselves trying to help those in need!..
Testing at games is the way to keep things going, but I wonder how many of the positives were brought back from European competitions!..
Like people have said, that needs looking into because that's where a lot of problems will be!..

All PL sides should stop working as they cannot do it in a socially distanced safe manner, they should furlough all their players and the Gov can pay 80% of their wages.

You work from home if you can, not if you're essential.

I can't play golf...so it's essential that football is on
as you were...

If they cancel the season then that wonderful inspirational film Escape To Victory will all have been in vain.
