Where does he rank amongst the worst ever players for this club? The bad players we’ve had this century at least, they’ve not played as much as him. At best they’ve been substitutes. He may just be the worst player to be played the most minutes at least. Everything we expected (or half expected) has gone. The one thing he’s always been good at is his ball carrying ability and that with his loss of pace has deserted him. At Chelsea he was genuinely one of the best at dribbling in Europe. He can’t even control the ball anymore let alone run with it now.

Willian's confidence is shot but he had quality, Pepe is bang average at best. Neither one should be in our starting XI.

People definitely focus too much on transfer fees and not enough on wages. Bale will cost us more this season than Doherty for example.
Anyway I think the worst ever Arsenal player I’ve seen is Jenkinson - he’s also up there with one of the worst footballers I’ve ever seen too.

Willian has been dreadful and Pepe not much better. Right now though Havertz looks like the worst buy, he's still young and may come good but for 80 million I'd expect the finished article. Werner looks like a dud as well.
