A long haul trip and another behind closed doors fixture for the Bolton players who have made the 253 mile trip from the unibol to Exeter city's st James park. The 12th meeting between the clubs. The last time the sides played each other Bolton won 4-1 at st James park doing the double in Bruce rioch's first season in which Bolton got promoted. Bolton on the back of the 10 day mini break are looking for their first points in 2021. Team news. It's all been going on. 2 in 2 out since bolton last played. Peter kioso has been recalled from his loan by Luton and George Taft has been loaned to scunthorpe. Declan john loaned in from Swansea and kieron lee has signed as a free agent. In the tradition of Bolton left backs robbie Elliott and Joe Burnley signing and getting injured, john has injured himself straight away and joins miller, politic, gnahoua and Edwards in sick bay. Reiss greenidge is suspended. Lee likely to make his debut and Delaney in for greenidge. Other changes possible as 2 mystery players are isolating after testing positive for corona virus. On your Mark's, tenner ready it's a 7pm kick off

Had to turn my phone off as getting notifications of goals scored before on screen. Only really seen the 2nd half. A point probably more than Bolton deserved. Puts us 7 points above the bottom 2. Gilks a great save to win a point. Still issues at centre back with distribution, no pace, flat footed. Gnhoua put some life back into the side when he came on for delfounso who looks the new ameobi. Lazy and no interest and should be dropped. Also what is the point on isgrove? I don't care what evatt seems on training. I'm not having it he's better than darcy. Another disjointed performance, I don't think changing system made any difference. Still crap players.

Well that sent me off for the best nights sleep in a long time.
What is it with the players we have where's the effort and desire to win matches.
I wonder what Thomason has been up to has he been a naughty boy in training perhaps that's where IE is going wrong there's an awful lot of focus on how they are performing in training meaning we have a team with not much left to give come match day.
I hope IE has a secret plan to astound us all in the closing stages of the transfer window he's the boss now he's got to show us he can do better or we'll be saying the computer was alright and it was the bloke applying the method that was wrong.

None League Manager & None League team.
The sooner his contract expires the better,
He can talk the talk, but can’t walk the walk.

The week isn't half dragging I don't think Tues night helped maybe players are also suffered lock down fatigue and boredom just like the rest of us.

Give Evatt until the end of the season and if matters on the pitch haven't improved substantially, get shut. If every fan would pay a tenner, the club could pay him off. FV may have to contribute a few quid but it would be worth it.
I would be prepared to chip in for a result like that.

I'm becoming indifferent to everything at the moment including Bolton. Just looking for a reboot. Would love to start afresh next season, vaccine kicked in and going to games. I'm not going through another season on ifollow.

Don't allow your self to go down Benny. The vaccine will sort out Covid 19 and you will be able to go to games next season. As for our management woes, well that will be in the hands of Sharon and Michael if Evatt doesn't get matters on the pitch sorted.
One thing is sure, we can't let the unpredictability of results to continue. We need to be moving onwards and upwards. We are in league two of the EFL and although that is where we belong at the moment, it can't be allowed to continue.

How many Covid hangover seasons will football have.
Since we've been under embargo and running a tight ship due to lack of investment and cash shouldn't we have an advantage off the pitch for a couple of seasons while many others struggle recovering.
On the pitch is another matter we seem error prone in what's been going on with things like Tobias and the silly Billy keeper when will we learn to play winning football will it be tomorrow ?
