Goodbye Frank and thanks for your time here. Very grateful that you got us top four even though we were in a transfer ban and without Hazard. Also thanks for bringing through so many young players and turning them into established PL players. Something that none of your predecessors in the Abramovich era did, certainly not to the extent you did.
You were never going to get the time that you needed here to learn on the job but I'm grateful that you were our manager during the most difficult and challenging period that I've experienced as a Chelsea fan.
Also I'm certain that you will go on to become one of the very best managers out there if you continue your managerial career, which I know you will.
Super Frank, Chelsea legend forever.
Thanks for everything Super Frank

Well I can share for those who didn't know. I didn't want Frank sacked, nor do I believe he should've been.
I understand why, but it still cries out "short termism" again. Which i was starting to dream we were moving away from.

If it's any consolation Flash I'm blaming you with your Roman should sack Lampard article. Nobody apart from you knew it wasn't a serious article. Think you need to be a bit less cryptic next time mate

Yep I dunno why we appoint long term esque managers then find ourselves surprised when things inevitably go a bit sidewards or blippy and then we inevitably push the panic button

Season 1 - Transfer ban, no hazard, youth. Integrate youth try do what you can
Season 2 - Sign your players in the summer, integrate gel get everting how you want it trial and experiment
Season 3 - We expect you to start delivering and seriously competing
That is how it should be hiring a manager like that unless you’re hiring a short term fix manager like an allegri etc for 2 years

I’ve seen the Chelsea statement and it seems a lot more in depth than your generic sacking statement, explaining the reasons they let him go and even Abramovich himself was quoted on it. Don’t remember Chelsea doing that for any managers in the past.

Because it's never happened before. I don't remember Roman ever making a public statement about anything before actually. Correct me if I'm wrong.
