Matip made of glass..said it before
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I hate to say it, but you can't afford to have a player in your squad, who consistently gets injured just playing football, as excellent as he is, and he has been excellent.
Real shame.

Matip is an excellent defender and it is such a shame he is injury prone

Jurgen Klopp has told reporters that Joel Matip's injury looks 'serious.'

hjolberg is such a yard dog. he suits mourinho down to the ground.
I loved when milner nailed him in the first minute. Just dropped him with a block to let him know we wouldn't put up with it.
He threw himself over thiago's stupid tackle and spent the majority of the game dropping and rolling about any chance he got wile also breaking up play with the usual fouls.
really good player basically Nearly as good as fabinho
spurs tactically nearly got it right. if son's heel wasn't offside i'd say they would have sat 10 men in thier 18 yard box and not come out at all. the lat half time goal and kane's injury killed them.
If we are looking at things outselves.
alisson - back in shape, kicking improving
TAA - much improved.
Robertson - same level as usual
Matip - disaster injury
Henderson - did decent job.
Wijnaldum - did a really disciplined job
thiago - a lot of abuse from rival fans but was everywhere, interesting position move.
Milner- decent job.
mane - improved as the game went on I thought
Firmino - dropped into the spaces and killed spurs in midfield. played well but he looks like he's dropped a half yard of pace to me. he looked like his running has improved.
Salah - played decently, switched with firmino and led the press for a while.
