Azpicueleta Is 100% Right

What Azpicueleta has said today I believe 100%
I really do not believe any Chelsea players got Lampard sacked
Yes their performances were bad, but I do not believe any of them went and deliberately played badly to get him sacked or conspired.
I do believe it was a lack of tactical knowledge and tactically confusion and 2 or 3 other things that led to Lamps being sacked.
But Azpicueleta is right , we all need to get behind the team now and especially Tuchel, its difficult enough coming in mid season and then have a lot of the supporters not backing you really does not help.
As he said its not Tuchel's fault or the players really.
The club make the decisions on sackings, if you agree with it or not, we cannot do anything about it to change it.
Tuchel is our new manager, back him, .
If he does well, the team does well and all us fans benefit.

Lampard got sacked because Werner and Havertz didn't set the world on fire, a top German manager became available and that investment has to work.
Harsh, really. Werner and Havertz have to be given time.

Mixture of both, Lamps wasn't astute enough to go the next step, & some of our new players have been a mixture of lightweight in application & just downright poor in execution

Hoping Tuchy will right the ship

Not really the reason at all imo. Even when they haven’t played we’ve been awful

Quite right Bridge. I wasn't happy about to say the least but what's done is done and all we can do is get behind the new man - well when covid allows us!

Yeah same. Don't think this one was a case of the manager losing the players, simply the manager wasn't tactically good enough.

This was the first time (except for Grant) I was in sync with the board on a sacking, every other time I've been behind the club. Something changed after Leicester (A) for me as well, the degree to which Frank looked out of his depth vs. a good but not incredible team & manager was scary.

Looking forward to an interesting 18-24 months before the most toxic of breakups with Tuchel
