Bolton 2 Orient 0/Transfer Deadline Day

Matchday and a busy few days ahead. Monday we will have the disappointment of transfer deadline day, Tuesday a quickly rearranged fixture at Mansfield and Saturday our local derby at Salford. First up though is today's fixture against play off chasing Orient. In fact nearly all our fixtures seem to be against play off chasing sides such is the congested nature of the mostly even league as we look up from our lowly 19th place. Looking back at that last fixture against orient on the 31st october, which was the last day the pubs were open in Bolton, I sat and nursed my last pint as I couldn't face ordering a 3rd meal and alan houghton style contemplated that 4-0 defeat and realized while evatt can put this Bolton side out and play pretty football in patches it really has no real spine, structure to handle things the other way. Numerous goals conceded from set pieces, individual mistakes have continued since. So here we are 7 points from the drop zone and still looking for our 4th home win. Can we do it today? Will conor Wilkinson who seems to have reinvented himself more as a wide attacking player score his 2nd or more goals of the season against his old club? That player who Phil Parkinson tried to replace Gary madine with despite not being that kind of player, just tall. Team news. Edwards and politic remain long term, miller, john and Lee doing well and could be involved today. Ryan 'van gogh calamity' Delaney is suspended today. His replacement is likely to be Baptiste. Captain sarcevic has done his hammy and out for a month. Replacement likely to be Lee. My hopes for today. Be positive, brockbank and thomason to play and a front 3 of delfounso Doyle and gnahoua which could score goals. IE will have other ideas though.

Ins: Lukas Jensen (Burnley loan), Oladapo Afolayan(West Ham United loan), Michael Jordan Williams (Blackpool free 18 months), Marcus Maddison(Charlton Athletic loan).

Outs: George Taft(Scunthorpe United free). Regan Riley(Norwich City undisclosed). Ali Crawford (Tranmere Rovers loan).

Well that would be interesting.

So we looking at Maddison and a mystery centre back coming in. Riley to Norwich, Crawford to Tranmere, whites loan terminated. Some players we may be stuck with like crellin, comley, mascoll, Hickman, Bolton will have to deregister them so they can't play but still have to pay them. I think.

So Evatt got his four targets. Marcus Maddison from Charlton completing the quartet.

That's me done for the day as I'm off on a jolly to the Christie to have my operation. I'll be back online tomorrow.
