Buys of summer 2020 for me would be:
1) Martinez - even though I'm a bit biased the guy has been immense. Gives the backline such confidence and made some crucial saves. All of our summer buys were good, but he has to be the best one.
2) Dias - City have spent £400 odd million on their defence, often on flops to the amusement of others, but this guy has been unbelievable. Did an amazing goal line clearance when we played at the Etihad and has even made John bloomin Stones look reliable!
3) Reguilon - Spurs have played some pretty dire stuff this season under Mourinho to the discomfort of their fans, but whenever I've watched them this guy looks brilliant. Great cross on him.
4) Rodriguez - Everton made some smart signings in the summer but this guy has transformed the way they play. Crucial part of their team.
5) Soucek - he joined on loan in January but they officially signed him in summer, a massive unit who has also scored a fair few goals for them. Huge presence in the middle with Rice makes W'Ham a formidable opponent.
6) Fofana - absolutely love this guy at Leicester, only 20 years old but reads the game really well. Potential to go to the top of the game.
7) Walker Peters - gone under the radar at Southampton a little bit but they absolutely love him, another young English right back that is really promising.
Those would be the standouts so far for me.
