Yeah we can’t lose Gini, just alone for his availability. Ox, Keita, Henderson, Thiago plus Milners age, you can’t rely on these players over 38 games.

If he wants to leave to go back to his old Holland boss fine, but if he still wants to stay, offer him that new contract as soon as.

We've offered him a new contract at least twice.

Gini's gone, just got to accept that now. His consistency and availability is insane so it will be a big loss. Think we will need 2 signings in that position to replace him because of those factors.

Don’t mind Gini going, if he was giving it the ummm aaaaa maybe.. etc then Klopp would have facked him off.

I think Gini has been pretty down the line and saying he will leave at the end of his contract but will give his absolute all to depart on the best terms.

As a gaffer you have to respect that and you don’t mind playing him. It then gives you time to plan ahead.

Gini has won top honours and if he wants to play for Barca for a last big move then I’m made up for him.

He has a little bit of lallana about him on the ball with how he moves it, and his confidence in possession

Yep, called this pre season when I was saying the squad is actually stronger than last season (when toys were being thrown about re:transfers on here).

Get this season under his belt and he'll kick on I reckon.

Does lack a bit of pace though.

I though the issue was the length of contract. Gini wants 4 years apparently which we won't offer.

Klopp has stumbled on a good midfield which consists of Milly, Wij and Thiago which should be first choice for now. We are probably going to see Hendo and Fab continue at the back. The form of Jones has probably ended Ox career with us.
