Some Utd fans feeling sorry for Southampton

Not for me, They got what they deserved last season, They've been playing dirty against us for the last 18 months etc, Even last night, Scott McTominay is lucky he didn't break his leg from that ''challenge'' from the young Southampton player.

No I didn’t feel sorry for them either.

Felt a bit for the young lad who got sent off but that’s it.

Not one opposition fan is feeling for us over last weeks refs decisions nor would I expect them to.

I don't 'feel sorry' for any team that loses to the club I support.

But I'm not going to pretend that was a performance around which to jizz-dribble, as some of the younger premature ejaculator types are prone to do. It's too precious for that.

I probably would have gone as bonkers as some over that result if it had been against Liverpool or arsenal, but it wasn't. It was against a decent, honest, friendly and well run football club that were playing with 10 men. It was a good, result and a very professional performance. But the result was not one that Southampton, the club or players, deserved.

I've read nothing on this forum today that better matches your 'jizz-dribble' description than the pathologically heightened self-regard with which you contrast yourself with other members of this forum.

If, as a self-declared long term Manchester United supporter, you are still prepared to wait for United to stuff Liverpool 9-0 one day, before you can get some self-satisfaction from this game, I would save yourself the disappointment and give it up now, pal.

Probably would have been if Mike Dean had played a legitimate amount of stoppage time.

Matth must live in very deep Wales. The result reaches him a good 24 hours later. Must be an exhausted sheep that finally got it for/from him.

They always do a normal amount for thrashings tbf. I remember 1 minute stoppage time during one game

Long may the goals flow.

Rarely get carried away because this team disappoints and excites in almost equal measure. The landslide win could be the start of something good in terms of goals and a winning run, it could've been a one-off, the freak score line definitely a one off.

What I hope is not a one off is the way our full backs attacked. Both our FBs were outstanding, that for me was the highlight of last night.

Freak result.
Ole must get their heads.back out of the clouds.
Long way to go.
Let loose the dogs of war ?
Love to see it .
Ole is the Boss.
His judgement is better than mine.
Hope we give a good go and don't get the Arsenal type mentality..
There are 4 teams in this.
However it turns out it should be nail-biting.
Football will be the wiinner from this....and all the TV broadcasters of course.
