His goal last night takes him ahead of Eric Cantona on the goal scoring list at Man United.
Well done to the young man
It's been a bit difficult for him on and off the pitch lately but the lad is a top talent.
All the stupid imbeciles and so called "fans" who have been racially abusing him on social media recently can hopefully choke hard and drop
Marcus Rashford

I completely get people being frustrated when players aren’t playing well or putting enough effort in. What I don’t get is why people feel they have the right to go and abuse these players on social media.

Because the internet gives the knuckle dragging moron brigade a voice unfortunately.
These idiots would never say anything like this in real life as they would be slapped like the red headed stepchild but are safe behind their keyboard

Rashford's achieved so much already and he won't be 24 until the end of October. He's got a very real chance of getting to 20 goals again this season; if he does this, he'll have done something Cantona didn't (although his ban prevented him from doing this). Rashford's done all this in the first third of his career, to, rather than at his peak where Cantona was, amazing impact that he had admittedly.
I think Bruno has got a chance of equally Cantona's impact and goals/games ratio, maybe even getting trophies for Utd, too.

He has made 63 more appearances for United than Cantona to be fair.

Overrated one trick show pony if you ask me
Only joking. Will it be weird cheering for us on Sunday?

It’s always strange cheering you on.
A win for Liverpool Sunday and your right back in it providing you beat Brighton later obviously.

Absolutely and a point for Burnley tonight wouldn't go amiss

Cantona is an legend and an icon that lead us to many major trophies.
It’s always nice to out score someone like that but meaningless on its own. Martial will likely surpass Cantona’s goal number shortly too and many fans are questioning if he’s even good enough to play for United.

No definitely not. Tbh I thought Liverpool were gonna be out of the title race by the end of last week so just shows how quickly things can change.

I don’t think he’s too far off his assist stats either.
Obviously stats aren’t everything, and Cantona was a better, more influential player. But it’s still an incredible achievement for a young player to come straight out of the academy and put up those kind of numbers in a largely struggling United side. Cantona played in the most dominant side in the country - granted he was a big reason for that.

As all fans, I want to see our academy stars develop and prosper in the first team, but I think Rashford has a long way to go.
Despite the goals he has scored, I think his finishing needs a lot of work, considering the number of chances he requires.
Glad to see his statistics look great though, 23 at that.

Rashford misses a similar amount of big chances to most top forwards, to be fair. Obviously his finishing can improve, but I think people underestimate how many chances top goal scorers miss. You only have to look at Cavani as a reminder.
Consistency is obviously a problem for hm still. But his movement off the ball is an area he needs to really improve. If he does that he can become a regular golden boot contender.

Great feat but and it's a big BUT in almost 250 games! Eric did it in 185 games and virtually won everything. No comparison but a great feat non the less for the young Marcus.
Marcus would have surpassed Eric's record if he wasn't not so profligate but nitpicking aside still young and bags of talent to boot and hopefully if he remains on the right trajectory should be breaking more records and collecting more accolades and trophies for club and country. Maybe just club!
