Any thoughts on Snodgrass, how did he suddenly go to West Brom, and why did we miss that chance, or would he have fitted in MB's team ?

loved snoddy but theres no place on this team for him.
schmeichel also, very competent goaler but he wouldn't want to be backup and would anyone really want meslier out? the kid is going to be a really good leeds player.

Do you seriously think that if Schmeichal was still at ER today that Meslier would be starting, that is delusional at best.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
For god sake an opinion, is nobody else allowed them?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Of course not, the opinion was embarrassing.

Schmeichel is 33. Very valid reasons for preferring to blood and develop a talented young keeper ahead of him

Mont, I think you took my comments out of context. Wakey is reflecting back at me what I said to him last week that he often uses the my views are more valid than yours card, he called the opinions of some on here embarrassing (not sure why he felt embarrassed but apparently he did) because he disagrees with them. Hence his post.
That wasn't meant as a dig at you, but actually, I think Meslier wouldn't start for most Premier League clubs including Leicester and is a reflection of how few options we have than

I am not entirely this makes any sense at all, are you actually saying if Schmeichal was still at ER you would be playing Meslier ahead of him, ahead of a full international who has played for a premiership winning side and is coming into his prime.
Please explain.

Only player I would have like to see back, is Milner. Good back up experienced PL player. Always been Leeds, and would be great if he could've seen his career out, by getting PL games for his beloved Leeds U

Yeah, suppose I am. Meslier is one of the most promising young goalkeepers in world football, right now. Schmeichel probably has 1-2 seasons at a peak/just past peak level left. Meslier has 15. For the long term future of the club there is only one correct choice.
And he's not coming into his prime. At the very most he has reached the plateau of his ability. Would you rather we start Wes Morgan or Christian Fuchs at CB over Struijk?

At the moment, if it was an option, I would have Schmeichal with Meslier on the bench learning his trade, he's a good prospect but he isn't even a starter for the French U23 side.
As for Struijk, I have been impressed, he has been given a lot of stick for the first Everton goal, but I have viewed the goal over and over, if Harrison doesn't slip over, Ayling was in the centre of midfield and seemed to amble back leaving out AM to do his job, you could have driven a bus through the gap Sigurðsson found between Phillips and Cooper and both failed to react (ball watching), Phillips clearly thought Cooper should have been covering the run. Second goal he was Struijk was nice and tight marking Holgate, Ayling was fast asleep.
To the second question, I cannot wait to see Llorente have a run. Neither of the 2 you mention. I also cannot wait to see how Cresser progresses.
You tuning in tomorrow?

If Harrison doesn't slip they do not score I meant, hopefully the right boots this week.

Snoddy was great for us but I fail to see who he would displace to get in our team now.

Snoddy was great for us in that first season after promotion. What a front line we had back then - Beckford, Becchio, Howson, Gradel, McCormack, no wonder we scored 70+ goals that season. We just couldn't defend for sh!t. We needed a central defender in that January window and we got nothing. At the end of the season, Bates cashed in. No wonder Grayson lost his hair.

I've thought about Taylor ever since we played Burnley. Would add a bit of extra height too in defence. My only concern would be, does he have the pace needed for a wing back? As Bielsa likes players who can bomb forward. Otherwise would be a good signing

fair enough els, but my point was more would you bring him back more than if he was still here.
if he was still with the team it would be perfect for meslier to learn as a backup to an international.
if he came back now it seems to me it would set meslier back after preforming well for over half a season. im not sure this makes sense.
