A year ago today since we lost to Nottingham Forest.
Luke Ayling gave THAT interview when he looked close to tears.

Social media was in absolute meltdown.
The pundits were saying leeds have blown it, Bielsa teams cant last the season.
One year on and we have just dismantled an establishsed Premier League outfit with ease and we had 7 senior players missing.
Absolutely immense.
So fking proud of the club again.

Proud too. It's like been a kid again, excited as hell counting the hours to the next game. Incredible.

They showed real mental strength and fight to come back from that. I really do think the heartbreak the season before has benefited them in the long run.
This group of players are outstanding.

That's a truly amazing contrast, Kebab - I'd forgotten that Ayling interview!
It's all about leadership. Bielsa has shown us the way forward. How far can we go with a coach with such great integrity?

Beer No 6 has just whispered that we can go all the way to European competition places, if we dare to dream...
They are small bottles but quite strong at 5.5 and as close as I can get to English pale ale, so I trust what they say.

Remember leaving the Forest game, lowest I have felt for a long time.
Felt like outplayed, outsung and lost.......
FairPlay to forest for the atmosphere that night, rarely happens we feel 2nd best away.
However went to Brentford and drew, they failed to beat Charlton at home Tuesday afterwards ( they had won their cup final) and the rest is history...........

Hope you’re not suffering too much today, Jaz. Have you ever thought of doing a Leeds blog only after five bottles of beer? You are guaranteed one subscriber from this part of the world.

Just a bit of a thick head this morning, not too bad - it was only three pints really but enough to get me over the line these days - but thanks anyway, All the Bielsa. I still believe Bottle No 6 was talking sense.

Most on here at written us off too.
We weren't actually playing that badly during the bad run. Forest game was the first where our performance was really second best.
Bielsa spent time during the anlysis to focus and showing this evidence to the players. And despite a stupid mistake from Casilla and the 1-1 scoreline, we were the far better side against Brentford next.
Prior to the Brentford game I tried to argue (unsuccessfully) that on our day we were still the best team in the league. It had been very tough being a Leeds fan for so long and it has clearly scared the majority of us. But we need to remember every side goes through a tough patch of a few games. It doesn't mean we are crap, and we definitely don't need to change much.
There was a bit of panic on here following a few negative results a few games back. But it certainly wasn't enough to suggest the team was out of form. And this Leeds side has proved time and time again that they can bounce back from a few bad results so quickly.
I genuinely believe with 2 or 3 very good signings in the summer we will be challenging the top 6 or 7 with a target of top half as a minimum.
Go back 3 or 4 years and we had an empty swimming pool and players having to bring their own pack lunches in FFS!
'So fking proud of the club again' is exactly right. So proud. Other fans must be so jealous of the joys we have had supporting Leeds recently.
